Access to Poplar Ave. in Pierre from both Elizabeth St. and Capitol Ave. will close Friday (June 23, 2023) and remain closed until further notice. Local access will be maintained to both blocks of Poplar Ave. via Prospect Ave.
Through traffic should avoid the construction zone by detouring to Oneida Avenue.
The closures are in place to prevent damage to temporary water infrastructure.
