Trenton Duchscherer collected four hits in four at bats, as the Oahe Zap defeated the Sawtooth Sockeyes 5-4 on Saturday. Duchscherer doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the second inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
The Oahe Zap opened the scoring in the second after Tyler Hoffman singled, scoring one run.
Austin Takahashi doubled, which helped Sawtooth tie the game at one in the top of the fourth. A double play gave the Zap the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth.
The Sawtooth Sockeyes took the lead in the top of the eighth inning after Hadley Smith doubled, and Grady Daniels hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
Kyle Memarian singled, which helped the Zap tie the game at three in the bottom of the ninth.

Brady Glenn earned the win for the Oahe Zap. The reliever surrendered two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Jake Robinson took the loss for the Sawtooth Sockeyes. The reliever went one inning, allowing one run on zero hits, striking out one and walking three. Nick Blessing stepped on the mound first for the Zap. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and one run over six innings, striking out seven and walking three. Evan Massie led things off on the mound for Sawtooth. They surrendered six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one and walking three.
The Oahe Zap collected nine hits in the game. Memarian and Hoffman each drove in one run for Oahe. The Zap had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Tyler Hoffman and Carson Trumpold led the team with two bases on balls each. The Oahe Zap didn’t commit a single error in the field.
