Pierre now facilitating household cleaning supplies swap as part of recycling program

The Pierre City Sanitation Department has expanded its recycling program.

Solid Waste Manager Val Keller says they’re now facilitating a free household supplies swap.

Keller says once they’ve checked to be sure the products are still good, the items will be made available to the public.

Keller says donated household chemicals must have proper labels.
