Wessington Springs High School is hosting its first annual “Celebration of Agriculture” this evening (Sept. 25, 2023) at the school.
During the free, community event, there will be a public reveal of professional artist and Spartan graduate Kenzee Schafer’s mural, which is painted on two 30-foot parallel walls in the high school, depicting images from the history and success of Wessington Springs High School’s FFA Chapter.
No RSVP is required by the public for this event.
- 6:30pm– Public reveal of Kenzee Schafer’s FFA mural, a display of artifacts from the Wessington Springs FFA Chapter, and displays from the local 4-H, Western Heritage Museum and Jerauld County Pioneer Museum
- 7:00pm– BBQ sandwiches, chips and desserts available
