PIERRE – The Pierre Governor girls basketball team played their first home game in nearly three weeks and looked right at home Thursday night (Jan. 25, 2024) as they outpaced Lakota Tech, 65-34.
The Govs were able to establish their inside presence early and often as Reese Terwilliger scored ten points in the first period on her way to a career high 25 to lead the way. Lennix Dupris chipped in 13, but Pierre also got a season high 12 points from their bench, led by Grace Richter’s eight points.
Shania Ferguson led Lakota Tech with 14 points.
The Governors improve to 9-3 on the season.
