Fisheries Public Meetings Scheduled for Pierre and Mobridge

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) will be hosting two public meetings regarding the Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe fisheries in Pierre and Mobridge.

GFP Fisheries staff will provide a short presentation on the history and current trends of the Lake Oahe fishery and also share management plans for the upcoming years. Information will also be shared regarding the Lake Sharpe fishery at the Pierre meeting.

Individuals from the public will then be given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the fishery, management, and other questions they may have.

Pierre

  • Thursday, January 30
  • Wrangler Inn
  • 7:00 p.m. CT

The Pierre meeting will also be recorded and available on the GFP YouTube page following the meeting for individuals who were unable to attend.

Individuals who are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to submit a question to be answered within the meeting, can send questions to Mark.Fincel@state.sd.us. Questions may not be responded to individually, but would be addressed within the meeting recording posted to YouTube.
