Less than an hour separates these two schools, and it is always an exciting game when these two take the floor. Lyman came out on fire, scoring the games first 10-points and carried a 19-8 lead into the second quarter. Jones Co. was able to dig their heels in during the second quarter, cutting the deficit to six, but a late offensive push by Lyman at the end of the second gave them their largest lead of the game, 28-15 at the half. Again, the coyotes were able to claw their way back into striking distance as they cut the deficit to 7 as the game entered the final quarter. Jace Nix hit two massive threes to make it a 45-42 game half way thru the fourth quarter and things immediately tightened up. A few late turnovers forced by the Raiders helped pad the lead and a dunk by Aksel Ehlers was the cherry on top as Lyman would go on to win 53-44.
Jace Nix had an outstanding night for Jones Co., scoring 19-points, but Lyman found MJ Diehm and Daswen Volmer in double-digits as those two would combine for 31 of the Raiders 55.
