The Lady Rustlers made the short trip west for a rivalry game against the Pirates last night in search of their 16th win late in the regular season. The Pirates got off to a hot start getting out to a 6-point, 19-13 lead after the first quarter. However, things flipped in the second quarter as the Rustlers found their footing and outscored the Pirates 22-10 in the second quarter to take a 6-point lead into the half. Miller continued their dominant play in the second half, scoring 33 to the Pirates 19 to go on and win 68-48
The Lady Rustlers had three players finish in double-digits, Madelyne Salenga with 12, Paige Werdle with 19, and Morgan Kolda who led both teams with 22. For the Pirates, they had nine players finish with points, but only one with double-digits (Jada Baloun with 16).
The Rustlers improved to 16-4 while the Pirates fall to 14-6.
