The all-Big Dakota Conference teams were announced this week, and two of Stanley County’s girls made Fort Pierre proud by earning Honorable Mention. Camryn Norman and Addy Deal, two of Stanley county’s impact players, were announced as Honorable Mentions for this years team after having excellent seasons. While the Lady Buffs did not make the postseason run they were hoping for, they still found success with these two and hope for more to come. Norman, a senior, played her last game with Stanley County. Deal, however, is just a freshman and is primed to come back next season in hopes to lead her team to a winning season.
Head Coach for the Lady Buffs and Athletic Director, Keely Bracelin, said, “I am incredibly proud of both Camryn and Addy for earning BDC Honorable Mention. For Camryn, this is a testament to many off-season workouts and for Addy, I truly believe it is the beginning of what can be a very successful basketball career as long as she continues to put the work in like she has been!”
