Last week (May 13, 2025), Fort Pierre Development Corportation Executive Director Dave Bonde awarded $500 scholarships to eight Stanley County graduates.
The following is a list of the recipients, their college of choice and field of study:
Isabella Talamantez – Lake Area Tech (cosmetology)
Hayden Roggow – Augustana University, (pre med)
Reese Hand – Army National Guard (combat medic)
Keira Briggs – SD State University (pre-pharmacy)
Spencer Sargent – Lake Area Tech (occupational therapy)
Colton Brady – Dakota Wesleyan (exercise science & elementary ed)
Kaysen Magee – Dakota Wesleyan (nursing)
Raegan Taylor – Western Dakota Tech (healthcare, radiology)
This is the most scholarships FPDC has awarded at one time.
