Stanley County Shooting had an outstanding performance at the Conference Championships, now taking the title Skeet and 5-stand in back-to-back years. It was newly graduated, *former* senior Wyatt Mortenson from Stanley County who took home the top overall shooter award for skeet shooting in the state, an impressive title to take in an extremely talented field.
Jace Nickolas of Stanley County also had a nice showing in 5-stand, taking first and Mortenson taking second, and Treyson Stout of Pierre taking third.
Now these shooters look ahead to State, which will begin on June 6th through June 8th in Aberdeen. You can see all the information for that tournament and the Conference Championship here.
