The Govs have made it to the postseason and will go on the road for their first round game later today against a familiar foe in the Harrisburg Tigers. The Govs wrapped up their regular season last week with their final game coming against Harrisburg. The Govs lost that game 16-2, but hope to throw the Tigers a new look today. For the Govs to win today, they will need to rely on solid pitching and their group of seniors to try and keep the season going for atleast another game.
First pitch is set for 5:00 PM at the Sanford Sports Complex. The Govs sit at 4-16 on the season while the Tigers boast a 16-2 record. The only losses for the Tigers came at the hands of two Sioux Falls opponents in Jefferson and Washington.
