The Wall Eagles offense has been explosive early and often all season long, and Friday night’s semi-final matchup with the Philip Scotties was just another example of how dynamic this team has been all year long.
The Eagles scored 56-points in the first half, which was impressive, but what was maybe more impressive was the first half senior Jace Mohr put on. Mohr totaled five touchdowns in the first half, which has to be one of the most commanding high-school postseason performances of all-time.
This 50-point performance marks the 10th game this season in which Wall has scored 50 or more points. The only game this season in which they did not score 50 was last week versus Castlewood in which the game was ended late in the third quarter with a 41-0 score.
The Eagles won by mercy-rule 56-6 and advance to the State Championship game next week. Wall will face off with 9-2 Howard next Friday morning at 11:00 AM.
