Voting is complete and winners have been selected in the 2025 Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Light Up the Pierre Area” contest.
This year there were 10 home displays, 3 business/organization displays, and 6 Christmas trees entered. Winners were determined by the number of “likes” received on their entry’s photo posted on the PACC Facebook page.
The winners are:
- People’s Choice Award: 110 S. 4th Street, Fort Pierre (269 Votes)
- Clark Griswold Award: 110 S. 4th Street, Fort Pierre (91 Votes)

Dec. 11, 2025:
The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) has added a new category to the annual Light Up Pierre holiday lighting display contest.
The new category is Best Christmas Tree– however, trees on display at Christmas at the Capitol are not eligible for this contest. The other holiday lighting categories are People’s Choice, Holiday Business and Clark Griswold.
The contest is open to all homes and businesses in the Pierre and Fort Pierre Area. Registration is free and is open from Dec. 1–12, 2025. Voting will take place on the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page Dec. 15–18. Winners will be announced on December 19.
