Pierre School District employees will get 1% pay raises for the 2026-27 school year.
District Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says contract negotiations went smoothly again this year.
In addition to the 1% pay raise for Classified, Certified and Administrative employees, Pierre School District Business Manager Travis Dovre says the District will increase the amount it pays toward health insurance.
Dovre says changes were also made to maternity and military leave.
The pay increases were approved during this week’s Pierre School Board meeting (April 13, 2026) and go into effect July 1, 2026.
