The Pierre track and field team participated in and thrived at the State AA Track & Field Meet in Sioux Falls over the weekend. The Governors competed throughout the three-day meet achieving personal bests in most events, many top 8 place winners, a new school record, and a state champion. The boys finished in 7th place scoring 45.5 points, just 5.5 points out of a podium spot. The girls finished in 9th place scoring 35 points and only 0.66 behind 8th place O’Gorman.
