Rawlins Municipal Library in Pierre will do its Summer Reading Program using Facebook and YouTube.
Program guidance will be provided on demand via the library’s web page and Facebook page. Programming includes story time, reading challenges and crafts. Many supplies needed for the program crafts will be provided to registered participants.
The program is open to pre-school kids through adults with programming designed specifically for each age group. New programming will be posted online each week between June 8 and July 31 in accordance with the following schedule:
- Mondays: Teen Programming
- Tuesday: Pre-K & Kindergarten and 1st Grade Programming
- Wednesday: 2nd and 3rd Grade Programming
- Thursday: 4th and 5th Grade Programming
- Friday: Adult / Family Programming

Additionally, summer reading BINGO cards are available for all ages. This reading challenge comes complete with chances to earn free pizza or receive Pierre Pride dollars.
