The Minnesota Twins and Diamond Sports Group today announced they have finalized an agreement on a one-year extension of the club’s linear broadcast rights through the 2024 season. As a result, all regionally-televised Twins games this year will be produced and distributed by Bally Sports North.
“We value our long-standing partnership with Bally Sports North and are pleased to let our fans know where they can watch Twins baseball in 2024,” said club President & CEO Dave St. Peter. “Our continued collaboration with Bally Sports North’s talented staff and crew will ensure exceptional broadcast coverage of what promises to be a thrilling season for the Twins and our fans. Looking beyond this short-term resolution, the Twins remain fully committed to expanding the reach and accessibility of our telecasts and other team-related content.”
Diamond Sports Group CEO David Preschlack said, “We are pleased to have finalized a renewal that extends our long-standing partnership with the Twins organization on terms that work for both parties.”
Bally Sports North general manager Randy Stephens said, “We look forward to working alongside the Twins to continue delivering quality broadcasts and in-depth coverage supporting the team’s deep connection to its dedicated fans across the region.”
Beginning with the first Bally Sports North production of the 2024 season, fans in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, western Wisconsin and northern Iowa will have the option to watch Twins baseball on television via cable providers such as Comcast Xfinity, Charter Spectrum, MidcoTV and XTREAM Powered by Mediacom, among others; via satellite with DirecTV; or via streaming TV providers like DirecTV Stream and Fubo. Additionally, fans will again have the option to live stream Twins games on the Bally Sports app when they authenticate with their pay TV provider.
The Twins’ full 2024 spring training and regular season broadcast schedule, along with the complete talent lineup joining new television play-by-play voice Cory Provus, will be announced by the club and Bally Sports North in the coming weeks.
