The Governor’s Cup fishing tournament, operated by The Fishing Crew, was held on Lake Oahe at Pierre/Fort Pierre over the weekend.
The Fishing Crew owner Curt Underhill presented Fire Chief Ian Paul with a $1500 donation to the Pierre Fire Rescue Squad. The Squad provides assistance to the event that takes place out of Spring Creek every year. Paul says they will likely use the funds to update equipment on their rescue boats.
