How much the Pierre School District pays to participate in some athletic activities will be going up for the next school year.
Business manager Travis Dovre says the fees are dictated by the South Dakota High School Activities Association or the Eastern South Dakota Conference (ESD).
Officiating rates for junior varsity activities will go up, but Dovre says those are established by the school district.
The increases were unanimously approved by the Pierre School Board.
