TONIGHT’S EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED– Second of three fire hydrant parties being held this evening at Devine Park in Pierre

The Pierre City Recreation Department and the Pierre Volunteer Fire Department are teaming up to host fire hydrant parties this month (July 2025).

Each party will have super soakers, fire hoses repurposed as oversized sprinklers and popsicles (provided by First National Bank).

Weather permitting, parties will be held from 6–7:30pm. All parties are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.

The parties will be:

• Tuesday, July 15 at Brandt’s Pond Park– THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED.

• Tuesday, July 22 at Harrison Park
