We would like to share an important leadership update. Darryl Nordquist has announced a transition from his current role as Chief Executive Officer to a role focused on fundraising for Special Olympics South Dakota. In this new role, he will concentrate on strengthening relationships with donors and supporters, and securing resources to advance our mission well into the future.

August 13 Family Fitness: Moving Together, Growing Stronger Hanna White, CPT – Seattle Parks and Recreation
Participants will gain valuable insights into understanding their child’s behaviors, emotions, and developmental needs across all stages, from early childhood through the teen years. Whether navigating everyday routines or major life transitions, this session will provide tools to help families build nurturing environments where children can truly thrive.
Do you think you’re strong enough to pull a fire truck?! Will your team be the fastest, pulling it 45 feet to the finish line?!
Participants create a team of 10 members. Each team is responsible for raising a minimum of $800 ($50 off for each female on your team, up to a maximum of $300 off). The team with the fastest time wins!
