The Oahe Zap have thrust themselves into first place in the ILB after going on a tear to finish the month of June and start of July. Almost all of their wins in that timeframe have come with 10+ more runs, and their pitching staff has been dealing in that stretch as well as their starters are averaging at least five strikeouts in their outings. The Zap now sit in the drivers seat with two huge series coming up at Hyde Stadium starting tonight and carrying into the weekend. The Zap have certainly been the hottest team as of late, with their offense feeling like they can put up a five-run frame at any moment in the game. Opposing pitchers have had a tough time not only keeping them in the ballpark, but also holding them put on the basepaths as the Zap are one of the most aggressive baserunning teams in the league. It certainly sets up for some thrilling baseball to watch.
