Boys & Girls Club of the Capital Area CEO Steve Steele has been named “CEO of the Year” for the Greater Midwest Area Council.
In addition to overseeing the operations of the Club facility in Pierre, Steele and his team have also taken over the Stanley County Gold Program in Fort Pierre.
The CEO of the year is selected based on the impact they’ve had on their organization and on the area council. The GMAC includes the states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota.
Steele is now in the running for the Regional CEO of the Year Award, which will be given out at the Midwest Regional Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, in October 2025.
