South Dakotans have until the end of business hours Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, to pay the second half of their 2024 real estate and mobile home taxes that are payable in 2025.
In Hughes County, Finance Officer Thomas Oliva (olive-a) says residents can make that payment online through the county’s website or by going to the Treasurer’s Office located in the courthouse in Pierre. The office is open from 8am-4:30pm CT.
Payments received or postmarked after Oct. 31, 2025, will be assessed interest, as required by state law.
