Flags Across the Bridge for Veterans Day

The Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club is displaying the US and South Dakota flags across the Missouri River Bridge between Fort Pierre and Pierre today (Nov. 11, 2025) in observance of Veterans Day.

Shel’s Gas Stop is sponsoring the display for this observance.

Additionally, around 130 Pierre businesses will have flags posted in front of their business.

Since 2006, the Exchange Club has consistently posted flags across the bridge for various holidays and other special occasions. The Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club meets at noon on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays of each month at Jake’s.
