Rawlins Municipal Library in Pierre will resume normal operating hours tomorrow (Aug. 21).
Circulation manager Abby Edwardson says they’re moving into Phase 3 of their COVID-19 reopening plan where things start to feel closer to normal.
Edwardson says several safeguards are in place.
Technical Reference Librarian Kerry Bowers says computer access will be restricted to ensure social distancing.
Rawlins Municipal Library hours will return to:
- Monday – Thursday: 10am–9pm
- Friday – Saturday: 10am–5pm
- Sunday: 1pm-5pm
Again, curbside delivery service will be limited to elderly patrons, those with a compromised immune system and other special circumstances upon request.
Throughout the pandemic, Rawlins Library has loaned out more than 1,000 books and other materials each week.
