Hughes County voters will have a couple more voting location options for the November General Election than they did for the Primary.
Hughes County finance officer Jane Naylor says there will be three vote centers in Pierre and one each in Blunt and Harrold.
Along with the Capitol Lake Visitor Center, the other two vote centers in Pierre will be at Faith Lutheran Church and New Life Assembly of God Church.
Naylor says one reason for cutting back the number of vote centers is to reduce the number of poll workers needed.
Naylor says the primary was a good test for the general election.
The first day to absentee vote is September 18. The last day to get registered to vote to be eligible to cast a ball in the November 3 general election is October 18. A ballot drop box for absentee ballots will be available at the Hughes County Courthouse.
