A 60 year old Sioux Falls woman died Friday evening (March 6, 2026, at 5:36pm) in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90, seven miles east of Alexandria.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling eastbound near mile marker 351 when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting the driver. She died at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is preliminary.
