The Stanley County Golf for Gold Fundraiser is a marathon day of golf that will see 108 holes played in one single day at Dunes Golf in Fort Pierre. It is led by CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area, Steve Steele, and is aimed at raising funds for the Stanley County Gold youth program in Fort Pierre. It was originally scheduled for this Monday, but will have to be rescheduled due to weather damage.
Fort Pierre saw considerable hail over the weekend which has caused damage to the greens at Dunes GC. Therefore, the event has been rescheduled to Monday, August 3rd to let the course recover.
