Stanley County School Board member honored for six years of service

Stanley County School Board Member Chris Fosheim has received the Distinguished Service Award from the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD).

The award honors school board members for reaching milestone years in service on their local school board. The start of the 2026-27 school year marked Fosheim’s sixth year serving on the Stanley County School Board.

ASBSD is a private, non-profit association representing around 850 South Dakota school board members, the 147 school districts they govern and the students they serve.
