PIERRE, S.D. – Due to recent rains, the detour around a structure replacement project approximately 8 miles west of U.S. Highway 83 on Bad River Road needs repair and is impassible.
The contractor will make repairs as soon as conditions allow. Traffic will need to use alternate routes until further notice.
The prime contractor on this $714,455 project is BX Civil & Construction, Inc out of Dell Rapids, SD. The overall completion date is Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.
