Surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Eva Miller left her Kennebec home bound for Heaven on March 4, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday March 10 at 10:30 at the Kennebec Community Center.
Eva was born on December 11, 1934 in Lyman County South Dakota to Gilbert and Nellie (Matheny) Abrahamson. She graduated from Kennebec Schools in May 1952. Ronnie Miller swept her to the alter on November 10, 1952.
Three sons were born to this couple and being a mom and homemaker was important to Eva. As the kids grew up, she taught them to do dishes, chores and to cook. Eva worked in the Kennebec Grocery store and also a clerk for the Lyman County Assessor. In later years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband as he trucked through the countryside. She also took precise care of their trucking records.
Eva believed in spanking, going to church on Sunday and cleaning house at midnight. Favorite past times included playing cards, reading, penny slot machines and being with friends. Her most cherished moments were spent with her grandkids playing games and reading!
Eva leaves behind her three sons- Michael (Julie) Miller, Terry (Arlene) and Kenny. Ten grandchildren include Casey (Star) Miller, Brady (Jeanette) Miller, Tyler Miller, Levi Miller, Jance (Jennifer) Miller, Derek (Alexandria) Miller, Jordan Miller, Kacy Miller, Nicole Miller and Kattie (Eric) Teslaa. Eleven Great Grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and brother Steve Abrahamson survive Eva.
