The South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin construction work on US Highway 18 between Dallas and Burke tomorrow (April 28).
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and guided through the project with the use of flaggers and a pilot car. A delay of up to 15 minutes can be expected while traveling through the work area.
The 13 miles of repairs will take approximately one month to complete.

During the concrete cure period, the flaggers and pilot car will run 24 hours per day.
