Country music act Parmalee will headline the Saturday night entertainment at the 2021 Oahe Days Arts and Music Festival June 18-19 in Pierre.
Shawn Hess and the Country Skillet and The Foxgloves are the Saturday night openers.
According to their website, Parmalee is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and their best friend Josh McSwain (lead guitar). The 2016 ACM “New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year” is one of only four groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut Country album, including their #1 hit “Carolina.”
Arch Allies is the Friday night headliner. Their website says the band is “America’s premier tribute show featuring the music of bands such as “Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Boston, Bon Jovi and Queen.” Camp Comfort will open for them.
