Several streets near Steamboat Park in Pierre will be closed this week to make way for the annual Oahe Days Arts and Music Festival Friday and Saturday (June 18-19).
Missouri Avenue, between Robert Street and Central Avenue, will close this morning (Wed.). Additionally, Central Avenue, between Missouri Avenue and Island View Drive will be shutdown, as will Island View Drive between Central Avenue and Pierre Street. Access to the American Legion parking lot will be maintained via Pierre Street.
The closures are effective until Monday morning (June 21).

The intersection of Huron and Prospect Avenues in Pierre will close Thursday (June 17) for water main work. Barring any unforeseen complications, the intersection is expected to reopen by Saturday.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
