A 32 year old man from Pierre is charged with burglary after a breaking into a residence on the 100 block of West Broadway in Pierre.
According to the Pierre Police Department, officers were called shortly before 1am yesterday (June 21) for a report that a male had entered a house and attempted to take items from inside the residence. The occupant confronted Gabe Dubois, who then fled on foot.
Dubois was located walking in a nearby alley and was wearing clothing matching the description of the subject and was detained. After being positively identified by the resident, Dubois was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and taken to the Hughes County Jail.
