When it comes to weather variety, South Dakota saw a little bit of everything yesterday (Oct. 13, 2021).
National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Vipond says there was everything from heavy snow in the Black Hills to tornado warnings in the extreme northeast corner of the state.
Vipond says the Aberdeen office issued several tornado warnings for the northeast around mid-afternoon yesterday as a line of storms turned severe.
The only immediate reports of storm damage came northeast of Dumont, Minnesota, where there were reports of tree damage and damage to the roof of an outbuilding.
