FT. MYERS, FL – Dylan Bundy pitched two scoreless innings Sunday as the Minnesota Twins earned their first spring training win, shutting out the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 at Hammond Stadium.
Bundy allowed one hit and struck out one. Twins pitchers combined on a three-hit shutout and struck out 11. Taylor Rogers struck out the side in the third inning. Lewis Thorpe struck out four in two innings.
Derek Fisher drove in a run for Minnesota (1-3).
The Twins will play Monday against the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota, Florida.
