Monte Bertsch, Sr., 74, Eureka, died Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Ashley, ND Medical Center Nursing Home.
Monte’s funeral will be livestreamed at the Lien Family Funeral Care Facebook page.
Monte is survived by one son, Monte J. (Megan) Bertsch, Jr. of Eureka; one daughter, MacKenzie (Corey) Dutchuk, of Bismarck, ND; half-brother, Marlo Knoepfle, of Aberdeen; and three grandchildren, Monte J. Bertsch, III, and Jaymeson and Emmersyn Dutchuk.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, June 26, 2026 at Zion American Lutheran Church, Eureka, led by Pastor Ryan Gage. Interment follows at the Eureka Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday with a 6:00 PM Prayer Service at Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, Eureka; and resumes one hour prior to the funeral Friday at the Church.
Services are in care of Lien-Straub-Carlsen, Chapel, Eureka.
