Funeral Services for Tiffany Red Legs 42 of Little Eagle, SD will be at 11 AM, CT on Saturday, February 27, 20201 at the Little Eagle District Building. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery in Little Eagle, SD under direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Family and friends will leave on Friday, February 26, 2021 from Osters to District Building in Little Eagle, SD for a service and viewing starting at 6 PM, CT. Tiffany passed away on February 10, 2021 surrounded by family at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck. Oster Funeral Home is Honored to serve family of Tiffany Red Legs. Tiffany (Tesky) Monique Chasing Hawk-Red Legs of Little Eagle, SD; was a mother to seven kids. Tiffany was admitted to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND on Monday, Jan. 4th, 2021. There they found she needed further medical assistance and continued to have complications with kidney and liver failure. Tiffany died on Wednesday, Feb. 10th, 2021, in Sanford Hospital with family comforting her on her spiritual journey, at the age of 42.
She was born June 2, 1978, to Diane Rayleen Kills Crow and Norman Jack Little Dog (Natural Father), Lemar Chasing Hawk (Adoptive Parent) in Fort Yates, ND.
Tiffany was raised by Dale & Mary Rose Weasel in Little Eagle, SD; where she also attended grade school. She continued her education at McLaughlin High School in McLaughlin, SD; where she only completed 9th grade upon deciding to get her GED.
She held short term employment at Prairie Knights Casino, and Grand River Casino. The district accepted her to work hours at Little Eagle District Building, where she worked long term.
Tiffany was well talented at beading regalia, well practically, beaded anything she could. She sewed star quilts promptly and admirably. These two skills were how the community knew of her. Everyone loved her work and continued to go to her. Tiffany was a good horse back rider and basketball player back in her younger days. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee while listening to music and she would be singing along to her favorite songs. We are all going to miss the way she would call on the phone to reminisce.
On September 27th, 2011, she married Henry Red Legs Jr., in McIntosh, SD. They were originally together for 16 years and married for 9 years.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Red Legs Jr.; children, Tylayna and Waylon Makes Him First, Trinity Defender, Kailee Chasing Hawk, Joey and Henry Red Legs III; aunties, Elizabeth and Jacqueline Little Dog; sisters, Marjorie Kills Crow, Ernestine, Tanya, and Jessica Chasing Hawk, Brenna Little Dog, Pamela Yellow Earrings, LyAnne, and DeAndra Bobtail Bear, brothers, Kenny, Jonathan Chasing Hawk, and Dace Bobtail Bear; cousins Jennifer, Ira, Ellen, and Inyan Weasel., Michael, Lloyd, Jackie, Kara and Josh Logg; grandchildren, Devin, Tariq, Dante Skinner, Jamari Little Dog, Caden Medicine Eagle Jr.; nieces and nephews, Jalyn and Jordan Frazier, Shania Kaypaya, Dylan Kills Crow, Ashton Kidder, Karen Stretches, Dwayne, Harmony and Jewelyah Crow Ghost, Xavier Kidder, Honey Hollow, Kalia Eagle Shield, Mia Chasing Hawk.
Renae, Carrie, and JoAnne Foster, Burton, Rosie, and Heart Little Dog; Shannon Little Dog, Danielle Bobtail Bear and Brandy Herrera, Liz Frank, Gabrielle Little Dog, Malachi and Jackson Howard; Scott, Sandra, Sara, and Susie Chasing Hawk; Milton, Natalie, Allison, Katie, Malleri (Vivier) Roberts.
Tiffany had a special person in her life on her father’s behalf, her auntie Bernadine Little Dog, whom she also called mom. Along with a lot of aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tiffany is preceded in death by her grandmas, Rachel Foster, and Delma Little Dog; grandpa, Arnold Kills Crow, aunties, Ardis Kills Crow-Logg, Mary Rose Weasel, Benadine Little Dog; uncles Dale Weasel; brother Winfield Kills Crow-Little Dog; son, Daylan Chasing Hawk
Casket bearers will include Ira Weasel, John Foster Jr., Myron Uses Arrow, Frank Red Legs, Michael Kills Crow, Brad Little Dog, and Les Hanson
