FT. THOMPSON, SD – Timothy Joe St. John Williams, 35, passed away June 17, 2026, at his home in Fort Thompson, SD.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Thompson. Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Big Bend. Two-night wake services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Thompson. The procession to Fort Thompson will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, from Luze Funeral Home in Highmore.

Timmy was born on December 6, 1990, to Daryl St. John and Denise Williams in Chamberlain, SD. Timmy lived most of his life on the Crow Creek Sioux Indian Reservation. He worked at the Lone Star Casino as a cook and at the Crow Creek C-Store as a cashier. He worked up until his health forced him to quit working.

He is survived by two brothers: Trevor Williams of Fort Thompson, SD, and Londell Blaine of Chamberlain, SD; one sister, Doreece St. John of Fort Thompson, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, too numerous to mention; and “Gram” Darlene Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandpas; one grandma; three uncles; four aunts; and many cousins and relatives, too many to mention.
