A 41-year-old woman from Fort Yates, North Dakota, convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine has been sentenced by a federal judge.
Shanna Michelle Pleets must serve to 60 months in federal prison, followed by 4 years of supervised release.
The conviction stemmed from actions in 2018, wherein Pleets conspired with others to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine on the Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
Pleets was immediately remanded to the custody of the US Marshals Service.
