The Friends of Rawlins Municipal Library group is hosting a Storywalk at Hilger’s Gulch Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 7-8:30pm.
Friends of the Library president Brenda Hemmelman says the walk takes children and their parents through Governors Grove. Along the way, there are stops for families to take a break and read a few pages from the book “Sheep Take a Hike” by Nancy Shaw.
Hemmelman says the walk will be set up until 8:30pm, but the walk and reading stops don’t take that long. She says they don’t want families to feel rushed and want to provide ample space for social distancing.
“Sheep Take a Hike” is an early childhood book, but the program is free and open to children of all ages.
