The Fort Pierre City Council approved licenses for two mobile home courts during their meeting last night (Mon.).
Fort Pierre Public Works director Rick Hahn says the Smith Mobile Home Court is fully compliant, but the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Court on Bad River Road is not.
Per the license stipulation, Hahn says if the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Court isn’t compliant by next year, the city could either close it or pursue other legal processes.
Currently there are approximately 25 trailers that would be affected if the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Court isn’t in compliance by next year.
