This is National Constitution Week in the United States.
The Daughters of the American Revolution Spirit of the Prairie Chapter says the designation was initiated by DAR to promote the observance of the US Constitution with a memorial week beginning on the anniversary of the signing of the document, Sept. 17.
August 2, 1956, President Eisenhower officially declared September 17-23 as Constitution Week in the United States.
The first 10 amendments to the Constitution are called the Bill of Rights. They are:

DAR Spirit of the Prairie Chapter members encourage people to read the Amendments and know your Constitution.
