A 31-year-old male died and 34-year-old woman was injured Saturday afternoon (3:07pm) in a one-vehicle crash on I-90 nine miles east of Murdo.
Information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says the woman was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup westbound on Interstate 90 when it went into the north ditch and rolled. Both occupants were wearing seat belts, but the male passenger was partially ejected. He later died as a result of his injuries. The female was taken to the Pierre hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
