FORT PIERRE – Seth Stock scored with 1:48 left in the third period Friday to give the Rushmore Thunder a 2-1 win over the Oahe Capitals at the Expo Center.
Both of this season’s regulation losses for Oahe (15-2-0-1) have been to Rushmore.
Rafe Briggs gave the Capitals a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 4:19 of the first period. Kael Delzer tied the game in the second period for Rushmore. Kieran Duffy made 23 saves in net for the Capitals.
With two games left in the regular season, the Capitals are two points behind first-place Brookings. Oahe will host Sioux Falls 2 on Saturday night at 7:00 CT and Mitchell Sunday at 2:00 CT in Fort Pierre.
