November busiest month yet this year at Pierre Regional Airport

The Pierre Regional Airport had its busiest month of the year last month (Nov. 2021) with nearly 2500 (2474) people flying out of Pierre.

City commissioner Jamie Huizenga says after a few turbulent years, people are again trusting their travels to Pierre’s airport.

Huizenga says he still hopes to see 20,000 enplanements in one year.
