DICKINSON, ND – Again, the Oahe Zap were in an early hole Wednesday and again, they could not come back.
Badlands scored five runs in the second inning on their way to an 8-2 win over the Zap at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Ballpark.
Troy Berg led the Big Sticks with a two-run homer and two-run single. Quade Peters had three hits and three RBI.
Trevor Seagraves and William Hoch gave the Zap (1-7) their runs with back-to-back RBI singles in the third.
Graham Young took the loss, allowing seven runs and eight hits in six innings.
